It is our pleasure to welcome you into our intimate restaurant, and treat you to some really good eating. It is our goal to make you feel like you are family. Our patrons frequently remark that it is rare to find such quality dining tucked away quietly in the suburbs, and are happy to make the trip again and again.

The name PATRONE was inspired by an old Italian gentleman from restaurant founder, Chef Goji Takahashi's neighborhood, who loved to cook. To us, the name is emblematic of you, our PATRON, for whom we endeavor to please above all.

PATRONE is a unique BYOB bistro that features the finest tastes culled from western and eastern cuisines for your dining pleasure. You will find superb Italian/New American dishes and sumptuous Japanese delicacies side by side. Go ahead and mix it up with a dazzling array of small or large plates for a wild party for your taste buds.

Our dining menu is lovingly prepared to present fresh, seasonal dishes utilizing the finest ingredients available, with passion and artistry. We only buy wild caught, certified organic and GMO free wherever possible. Most restaurants buy their food in bulk sight unseen from food purveyors, but for the most part, we actually go to the markets and hand pick our ingredients. Our pasta is house made fresh daily. Unlike most restaurants, each dish is individually prepared from scratch by our chef just for you, which is more time and labor intensive, but so totally worth the wait! A pleasant bonus of this continental custom of unhurried pace, is the luxury of time to savor your dining experience, and enjoy the company of your dinner companion, which also enhances improved palate cleansing and proper digestion. We will not overbook the restaurant to better serve you, and request that you arrive promptly for your reservations. We also request the courtesy of a phone call if you are unable to make it on time, or need to cancel your reservation. Walk-ins will be taken at the discretion of the chef.

It is attention to the details that makes all the difference at PATRONE. For example, we have installed a top quality made in the USA, five stage ultra-pure reverse osmosis water filtration system to purify the water we provide for drinking and for coffee and tea. We make every effort to serve you to the highest standards, and appreciate your feedback - both positive and negative, as an incentive to always improve. We take pride in our excellent food and attentive service, and work hard to earn your 5 star reviews on social media sites.

PATRONE was created by Chef Goji as a boutique showcase for his skills in 2014, and rapidly gained 5 star ratings and a fiercely loyal following. The restaurant was purchased by Jamey and Suyun Reilly (at left), along with their son, master sushi chef, WeiJun Chen (above). Chef Jun was classically trained in the fine art of Japanese sushi in the traditional master-apprentice style, and was the chef at several highly popular Philadelphia sushi restaurants. Chef Jun continues to improve and perfect the menu with a meticulous master's touch, and is sensitive to the authenticity of each cuisine.

Meanwhile, Jamey, who founded the wildly popular Jamey's House of Music a decade ago in Philadelphia, is working to open a new incarnation of his live music venue and restaurant two doors down from PATRONE at their newly acquired building. Jamey is a member of the Lansdowne Business Professionals Association, and sits on the Economic Development Committee for the Lansdowne Economic Development Corporation. Suyun, who owned Southern China's Heaven-Heaven Restaurant adds her gentle touch, and warmly welcomes you to enjoy your time with us.
